0 "Freethinking" Filipino Atheists

I frequently notice that these folks are starting to hold their meetups at places (just now at The Church of the Holy Trinity) that are built to serve religious purposes. I know that there are no laws or regulations banning them to do so but if one of these people get murdered in a place like this, I'd have a serious laughing fit. Just imagine a crowd of Christians conducting a bible study in a Mosque or stomping a cute puppy to death in front of a PETA headquarters- which I think is both perpetually as stupid as discussing things related to atheism in places of worship.

Why on earth would this group choose places like these to conduct meetups is beyond me. Well they are for one are making a statement but I feel that that statement is blatantly rude. I think that these acts are anything but respectful and are indirect assaults against fellow atheists, like me, who sincerely think that peaceful coexistence among communities with different beliefs and values is imperative above all. I also believe that this is not a positive example for other atheists who are still wet behind the ears.

This group, unfortunately, because of its fairly large membership will be a collective representation of atheists whether I like it or not. In a predominantly Catholic country, people are not used to being around an atheist so there might be a tendency that many would associate atheism with incivility. I would not like to be labeled or tagged sacrilegious just because some atheist choose to behave like this and if you're an atheist too, I also don't think that you would. So I am making a call to those people who participates and are planning to participate in these kinds of stuff:

Please reconsider your attendance.

0 Zero Percent Modeling Potential

I am sorry to break it to you, but you won't be able to pull it off. No matter how hard you try, no matter who you tag along with, it doesn't even matter what props you use- your pictures have been and will always be ugly. Someone has to tell you this because it just as painful for everybody else to stomach your pictures in social media when you are clearly not fit to exhibit your face.

Haven't you had enough of the baseless lies and misleading flatteries you get from families and friends? Today we are talking about the truth, the truth that everybody has been lying to their teeth when they told you that you looked beautiful in a photo. As for you, seriously, haven't you ever been suspicious whenever you got a compliment from a photo?

It's wonderful that you have dreams, and yes, those dreams of being beautiful will make you stand out. But remember that it is not like in the movies-- no amount of dreaming will ever make you beautiful. Delusion, only makes it worse. So now's your chance, to kill the itch of uploading pictures of yourself in the web and in turn, save yourself from further humiliation.

Wrong again. This isn't one of those blogs that makes you feel crappier than usual. This blog is all about bringing you back to the sane side. I am sorry that your face has zero percent modeling potential. But look on the bright side, chances are you are good at something else. You could be good at sports or perhaps math but give up on modeling and leave it to the really beautiful ones. Because the next time I see you camwhoring your mutant-grade face, I'll feel like I'm a little step towards to losing my mind.
