Do Filipinos value the quality of life? Yes, but I beg to differ. Filipinos value life regardless its quality. That's why fairly humanitarian concepts such as euthanasia and birth-control here rarely receive a reasonable room for consideration.
Most of us even blame suicide victims for being ingrates, seldom sympathizing with whatever suffering they endured before committing suicide. To a Filipino, life is probably as good as it gets.
