3 Lost Verses on Fear

I have always been here beside you
...close together, you and I
Your partner in success and failure
...your enemy and your friend

When you were trapped in idiocy
...I was always there to bail you out
I always take care of you
...Because of me, you will not be lost

I give meaning to your hopes
...Your mystery. Tension. Pain.
I am a part of your wisdom
...the fruit of your ignorance

I am the only tamer of your pride
...The salvation of your flesh and soul
The father respect and reverence
...The flourishing breath of humility

Bearer beware, I cannot be vanquished, conquered, or controlled; I am a mark of your manhood.

1 Know your Music I - Flobots

It is hard to merge hip-hop and rock under one label but if it goes well the results are phenomenal taking a good hard look at the band Linkin Park who dominated in the music industry in the late late 90's to early 2000. Well yeah, I guess Linkin's a little bit Electronica anyway, yesterday I came across a new band while surfing undertaking the same genre as aforementioned and they were freaking awesome I tell you.

Flobots is a band who sprung from Denver, Colorado in 2000. Currently they have 6 members plus 1 session meber for the trumpet. They say they got influenced by many artists such as The Root, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Outkast, Kanye West, to name a few. Be sure to look up their myspace for more details.

You are not wrong boys - you are definitely looking at a hot violinist chick to the right. Now this is what we call a real band.

I am encouraging you to check out Flobots and their awesome tune, Handle Bars under their album Fight with Tools (2007) under Universal Republic Records.

Aside from this, I am also urging you to listen to their other songs under the same album such as The Rhythm Method, Jetpack, and The Moon. You'd expect that their beats will be agitating deducing from the nature of their combined genre but you'll be surprised that their music is somewhat soothing. Their lyrics altogether are not your typical improperly fitted jargons. The rhythm of their songs are just epic, very original, and crisp. Check it out for yourself.

Their newest song White Flag Warrior featuring Tim McIlrath is kind of catchy too so I guess if you liked the songs above you'd definitely Youtube this one up too.

Flobots get a solid 8.5 stars out of ten.

4 Wanna be

Your efforts to gain attention by posting intellectually devoid status, shout-outs, and comments in Facebook wont go in vain I promise. You will get what you ask for - everybody will think that you are slow in the mind from now on.

Will it hurt you to be a little more realistic? I guess that if you put a lot of heart into it, you wouldn't at least post shameful ramblings. Be a little more sophisticated than the bile-spewing psychotics on the streets since technically right now, you are no less the same.

Gee, I guess there's no getting through you since even if you were twice as smart, you'd still be stupid so I shouldn't have bothered in the first place.

1 Throes of Staleness I

Take a good look at me. I am stuck and I just want to sit here and watch everything stay the way they are as I am. I am stagnant, not going anywhere anytime; a permanent passenger of time waiting for life to betray me.

I don't want to feel and be felt so I blend in the cradle of silence, so do not find me since silence is nowhere. Everything must pass by in their own special way, however special I do not care, as long as everything leaves me unscathed and pure.

1 What Makes You a Human?

Nowadays it is uncommon for one to think about a seemingly naive question like this and I don't think anybody really cares anymore. It seems that for almost everybody, this question has been solved before even though it hasn't really been. It is funny to think that man's curiosity towards himself dissipates as abrupt as it blooms. Questions like this aren't really given much attention until one has spare time and I can accurately say that there are many people out there who die without even thinking or questioning their humanity; rather depressing if you ask me. You can see for yourself and try asking people this question and I bet that most will beg for a time to think about it, others will brush it off, but a great deal of them will try to make you sound crazy.

So, what makes you human? Ok, I'll give you a minute...
